One in five Filipinos has no access to electricity.  So for them, productivity and opportunities are put on hold soon as the world turns dark.  Students find it harder to study and learn, livelihood slows down, and simple chores become harder. This need was recognized by Stiftung Solarenergie Philippines, an organization dedicated to empowering rural and marginalized villages throughout the Philippines by providing access to sustainable solar energy solutions.
